Our main office is located at 444 Oak St. Room C in Red Bluff. Our phone number is (530) 529-3664 and our fax number is (530) 529-3659.
In Red Bluff our office is open Monday through Friday from 9-5, closed for lunch from 12-1. Please call to schedule an appointment, or you may walk in if you only need a Tehama County ID card issued. In order to verify that you are a Veteran, please bring your DD214, unless we have it on file.
We have Outreach offices at the following locations:
In Corning: every Tuesday from 9-11 at the Veterans Memorial Hall: 1620 Solano St. Walk-ins are welcome!
In Los Molinos: the first and third Mondays of the month from 9-11 at the Government Center: 7883 Highway 99E. Walk-ins are welcome!
In The News:
*Free breakfast for veterans! To be held at the Elks Lodge on Sunday, November 10th from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. Free to veterans, $5 for all others.
*Please help spread the word that LIFT will be held on Friday, November 15th from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Tehama County Fairgrounds. The annual LIFT event connects individuals and families in need with community resources. A free meal will be provided as well as medical and other services.
*Anderson will hold it's annual Stand Down October 24-26 at the Shasta County Fairgrounds. This event is for all homeless veterans and their families.
Beginning February 2019 we will have Larry Dozier, case manager with the Redding Veterans Resource Center, in our office from 8-5. Larry assists Veterans who are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless with obtaining low-cost housing. Larry's direct phone number is (530) 223-3211. Larry accepts walk-ins from 9-12.
TRAX offers free lifetime bus rides to all Tehama County Veterans! Veterans can obtain a Tehama County ID card at our office, which can be used as their Veteran ID to ride TRAX. Please bring either your DD214 or VA healthcare card, unless we have it on file.

Business Supporting Veterans & Veterans Supporting Businesses:
Many Tehama County businesses offer discounts to Veterans with a valid I.D. card. The businesses will display a "Veteran Friendly Business" window decal. The VSO office will issue Tehama County Veteran ID Cards Monday through Friday from 9-12 and 1-4 on a walk-in basis. If you are a business owner and would like to offer discounts to Veterans, fill out the Application for Businesses to Offer Discounts to Veterans and turn it into our office at 444 Oak St. Room C.

If you would like the Veteran designation on your California Driver's license, you must schedule an appointment at the Red Bluff Veterans Service Office to obtain the form to bring to the DMV.

What Is The Veterans Service Office?
It is an office established by the Tehama County Board of Supervisors to assist in obtaining benefits from federal and state agencies administering programs for Veterans and their dependents.
How Does Your Veterans Service Office Function?
Your Veterans Service staff are trained in Veterans Affairs benefits and will assist you with submitting your claim to the VA and will provide follow-up service if needed, to determine that you receive benefits to which you are entitled.
Your Representatives work with accredited organizations such as:
American Legion – CA Department of Veteran Affairs – Disabled American Veterans – Military Order of the PurpleHeart – Veterans of Foreign Wars, and many others who maintain a small staff at each Veterans Affairs Regional office. Your Representatives also work directly with the VA.
VETERANS SERVICES STAFF ARE NOT VA EMPLOYEES.
