Burt Bundy and his wife Joyce have a small commercial cattle and catfish operation at their home in Los Molinos where he has lived for over 60 years. They have two sons and five grandchildren. He is the immediate past President of Tehama County Farm Bureau, a former member of the State Board of the California Farm Bureau Federation and a graduate of the California Agricultural Leadership Program. Burt is also President of the Mill Creek Conservancy, a local watershed group that facilitates riparian habitat and in-stream anadromous fish restoration on Mill Creek.
Mr. Bundy was a Tehama County Supervisor for 12 years (1981 to 1993) and during that time became very involved with resource and agricultural activities along the Sacramento River. Burt also served three Governors as an appointee on the State Reclamation Board.
Mr. Bundy has been active locally as a founding member of the Kiwanis Club, Little League Coach, Los Molinos Mutual Water Co. Board member, and many other groups. He is also a board member on the Northern California Regional Land Trust, working to preserve resource and agricultural land in Butte, Glenn and Tehama counties. Supervisor Bundy continues to farm and work on agriculture and resource issues close to his heart.
